A workshop exploring theatre as a means of expression. An initiation to acting and imagination to boost confidence. Bringing awareness to the importance of characters in a story through contemporary monologues and texts created for young people. Awakening the body to express emotions and the potential of vocal communication by exploring the nuances of voice and movement.
This workshop can also be adapted to the needs of teachers, in which case it is followed by a discussion about useful tools to teach theatre in the classroom.
Introduce key elements of theatre (characters, location, time, space, dramatic situation). Express feelings, ideas, and an appreciation of various performance types.
